We at Custom flag makers use different flag
fixtures
depending on where your flag is to be
hung.
There are mainly 5 fixtures that are commonly used
below we have explain what each of the fixtures is
used for.
Brass Grommets also known as
eyelets
These are round and brass that are place usually on
the header of the flag one at the top and one at
the bottom, these are there to feed the rope
through from the flag pole so the flag can fly. You
can also them to hang the flag where ever you
like.
Rope loops These are pieces
of heavy duty rope again attached to the header of
the flag these also are use to attach the flag the
the flag line of the pole.
Sleeve Sleeve are common for
hand flags so you can slide a pole in they are also
used for garden type flags and poles that are
attached to the house, usually sewn on the left
side of the flag the hanging side and the top is
sewn and the bottom left open. Sleeves are sewn on
tripled stitched for added security.
Rope and
toggle Rope and toggle this is the
attachments usually used by the military. The
toggle goes into a brass loop at the top of the
flag pole and the rope at the bottom of the flag
ties on to the flag line to pull it
taught.
Car flag
poles The car flag poles is made from a
material called polypropylene plastic. The car flag
pole has 8 injection points and is an unbreakable.
They easily clip on the window with out making or
leaving a mark.
